Live from the Omni is a live music concert series held in the Omni Theater. 

There are two options for VIP Perks: 

• VIP Ticket holders’ benefits include free and convenient parking in the Museum School lot on Lansford Lane beginning at 6:15 pm and early access to the theater to choose your seat. Enjoy bonus content by the artist, while taking advantage of early seating. VIP ticket holders also receive a poster of the In Event of Moon Disaster album art. 

• VIP Plus benefits include all perks of VIP tickets, plus a Vinyl record of In Event of Moon Disaster by Cut Throat Finches. 

In Event of Moon Disaster is a 2019 concept album by Cut Throat Finches. Before that, it was a somber speech prepared in case the Apollo 11 mission was not a success. The concert will take the audience through all the steps of this imagined disaster, beginning with ignition, takeoff, and ending with a goodbye letter and a speech. 

About the Band: Cut Throat Finches: An ironic name for a tiny bird, with a giant Texas sound. Singer-songwriter Sean Russell, a proud resident and advocate of the Fort Worth Texas music scene, formed the band mid-2015 with a group of much-lauded players from the area (Taylor Tatsch- guitar / Eric Webb- keyboard / Draya Ruse- Drums/ Robert Paine- bass). This Americana-ish rock band shares an affection for indie/alt rock royalty ranging from Tom Petty to Oasis with a hint of Texas twang that is intentionally woven for the discerning ear. Their recent release, Unraveled, has won album of the year 2024, and they took home best vocals & drummer for the year. 

Join us at 6:30 PM in the Omni Lobby for drinks, snacks, and mingling. A cash bar and concessions will be available. The show begins at 7:30 PM. 

After the show, head over to Hotel Dryce for the Official After Party for Live from the Omni.
