Our Homeschool Family Science Club is an exciting hands-on program designed for children ages 5-11 and their adult to work as a team to dive into the world of science. Perfect for curious learners and families who love to explore, create, and experiment together! This program will run select Wednesday afternoons onsite at the Museum from 2:00-3:30PM and cover a variety of topics. Event fee is $5.00 for Juniors (5-11) with the addition of General Admission (Non Members- $12.00, Members- Check in With Membership). All children must be accompanied by an adult and each adult must purchase general admission ($16.00 for Adults) or check in with their membership. The ticket price includes general admission to the Museum exhibits. The price does not include parking; however, discounted parking is available for Members. Description
Become a geologist and discover how Earth’s natural forces shape our world! Families will investigate how energy from wind, water, and weather changes landforms over time. Through hands - on models, students will explore and demonstrate the processes of weathering, erosion, and deposition, and engineer solutions to conserve our natural resources. Before or after Homeschool Family Science Club, families are encouraged to extend their learning by visiting the Energy Blast exhibit to dive deeper into Texas energy, natural resource science, and the powerful processes that shape our Earth
